a common occurence which no hosting company would like people to know about are hacker attacks. and being held for ransom.

being a company on the internet means having your assets subjected to Rape every few days. unfortunately, this is how most of the online talent learns. some move onto honeypots while some decide against wanton vandalism.

some decide to excercise their freedom in less admirable ways, and these are the people who get all the publicity. unfortunately.

yes..you can firewall, you can patch and download updates. you WILL still be raped. if not by software, then by weak passwords. there is always an exploitable link in every chain created.
